Zusammenfassung

Erste experimentelle und klinische Untersuchungen haben die Durchführbarkeit einer dreidimensionalen Ultraschalldarstellung gezeigt. Eine dreidimensionale Diagnostik ist von der Kernspintomographie und Computertomographie bereits bekannt, doch wegen der Aufwendigkeit dieser beiden Verfahren ist der routinemäßige Einsatz — im Gegensatz zu einer dreidimensionalen Ultraschalldarstellung — kaum möglich.
