Zusammenfassung

Nebennierenraumforderungen sind relativ häufig: Bei Autopsien werden sie in 2–10% beschrieben. Dies macht verständlich, daß Raumforderungen der Nebennieren mit der Entwicklung neuerer bildgebender Verfahren, insbesondere der Computertomographie und der Sonographie, inzidentell diagnostiziert werden. Bei der überwiegenden Mehrzahl dieser Tumoren handelt es sich um hormonell inaktive Adenome [3, 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27]. Die Nebenniere ist andererseits das vierthäufigste metastatisch befallene Organ; die Prävalenz einer Tumorerkrankung ist in der sonographisch und insbesondere computerto- mographisch untersuchten Patientenpopulation sehr hoch, so daß im Rahmen von abdominellen Untersuchungen auch mit einem gehäuften Auftreten von Nebennierenmetastasen gerechnet werden muß [13, 22].
