Abstract
A computer system in intensive care can give the medical staff, the nursing staff and other hospital workers the needed information at the right time and place. It provides the required data accurately and timely. The objectives of the present paper is to describe the main advantages and disadvantages of the computer system, which is in use since three years at the Military Hospital of Brussels.
