Abstract

There are four different ligands X for which complete structural comparison is possible in the series SO2X2, SOX2, and SX2. These ligands are the dimethylamino and methyl groups, and chlorine, and fluorine atoms. The relevant “bond angles and bond lengths are compiled in Table 29, and the variations in the bond angles are also depicted in Figure 34 because of their special importance.
