So verhalten sich die meisten niedermolekularen reinen Flüssigkeiten, Gemische und Schmelzen und viele kolloidale Lösungen, besonders im Bereiche kleiner Konzentrationen, hoher Temperaturen und niedriger Drucke. Der Proportionalitätsfaktor η, die dynamische Viscosität, ist eine wichtige Materialkonstante, die bei jedem Stoff noch stark von Druck und Temperatur abhängt1. Sie wächst mit steigendem Druck und fallender Temperatur.
