Abstract
The preparation and differential x-y resealing of the whole hemisphere celloidin sections used inthepresent series has been discussed in Volume I (Chapter 3, Part IV, Preparation of the Diagrams of Thalamic Nuclear Variation). The patient material is described in Table 1. Specifically, cases used for the sagittal series were: A59-121, A59-158, A59-165, A64-92, A66-102; cases for the horizontal series were: A64-10, A64-13, A64-31, A64-50, MO64-361, MO64-471; and cases for the transverse series were: A64-10, A64-13, A64-31, MO64-361 and MO64-471. It will be noted that the series contained brains from seven males and four females and the brain weights varied from 960–1630gm.
