Zusammenfassung
Nur eine rechtzeitige, d. h. so früh wie mögliche operative Behandlung kann den Augeninnendruck auf Dauer regulieren und das Auge vor Erblindung retten. Die Komplikationsrate bei heutigen mikrochirurgischen drucksenkenden Eingriffen ist gering bzw. nicht höher als die Komplikationsrate bei operativer Behandlung anderer Glaukomformen. Die Erfolgs quote jedoch hängt eindeutig davon ab, in welchen Stadien der Patient operiert wird (je weniger Gefäßneubildungen im Kammerwinkel, desto weniger Komplikationen und desto häufigere Druckregulierung). Unsere Erfahrungen der letzten 5 Jahre zeigten, daß die Trepano-Trabekulektomie nach Fronimopoulos zur Zeit die geeignetste Operationsmethode ist. Sie kann auch bei Kleinkindern mit Erfolg angewendet werden.
Summary
The authors insist on early operative treatment of glaucoma patients with naevus flammeus. Results of operative treatment of 11 patients (12 eyes) are given and it was concluded that the success depends on the degree of organic changes and neovascularisation in chamber angle. The number of operative and postoperative complications was not higher than that in other types of glaucoma.
