Summary
Ionizing rays may release variable reactions to the retino-choroidal vessels. In consequence of irradiation one has to distinguish acute exudative alteration and delayed fibrosis. Comprehensive presentation of the pathohistological mechanism and clinical report upon 100 patients with malignant choroidal melanoma undergoing beta irradiation with the isotop ruthenium-106 (RH106/RU106). In three cases the irradiated eye had to be enucleated because of acute exudative reaction, followed by secondary glaucoma.
-
a)
une réaction aigue et exudative,
-
b)
