Abstract

In 1967 I became intrigued by an apparent inconsistency between clinical headache and its commonly accepted pathogenesis. I reviewed the literature of headache mechanisms and this gave rise to definitive changes to my conceptions of this matter, and these finally became reason for the development of the type of operation discussed here for certain headache types.
