Zusammenfassung
Der Stromtransport in Feldeffekttransistoren wird durch Majoritätsladungsträger bewirkt, d.h. die vorwiegend mit Minoritätsladungsträgern verknüpften Effekte (Rekombination, Einfang an Haftstellen) spielen eine untergeordnete Rolle. Die Herstellung von GaAs-Feldeffekttransistoren ist daher erheblich einfacher als diejenige von bipolaren GaAs-Transistoren.
