Abstract
The Huanzalá mine is located on the southeast flank of the Huayhuash Cordillera, about 80 km SE of the town of Huaraz (Fig. 1). This mine is one of the most important Zn producers of Peru (with minor contents of Pb, Ag, and Cu).
