Abstract
The theory of social change developed by sociology is of crucial importance for the Saas-Fee study. It is, however, far from being comprehensive or sufficient (cf. 124–127). In the following section, the actual state of sociological concepts of social change will be briefly discussed in order to outline some aspects of the theoretical framework of this study.
