Zusammenfassung

Läßt sich Schmerz messen ? - Wenn wir uns einem Menschen gegenüber befinden, der stöhnt, sein Gesicht verzieht und sich krümmt, dann glauben wir instinktiv zu wissen, daß dieser Mensch an Bauchschmerzen leidet. Ganz sicher können wir dieser inneren Gewißheit allerdings nicht sein. Ein guter Schauspieler könnte uns etwas vorspielen. Schmerz eines anderen Menschen ist nicht unmittelbar, sondern nur durch beabsichtigte oder unwillkürliche Mitteilung erfahrbar.
