Abstract
Dispersion curves of the excitonic polaritons in CuCl and CdS were precisely determined by a picosecond time-of-flight method in which the propagation time of a tunable picosecond light pulse in a crystal was measured. The experimental results and the availabilities of this technique were discussed.
