Ovarian Cancer: Immunological Aspects. Influence on Prognosis and Treatment

  • Conference paper
Ovarian Cancer

Part of the book series: UICC Monograph Series ((UICC,volume 11))

Abstract

The literature on immunological aspects of ovarian cancer is meager, and even more so when it comes to the consideration of the immunological aspects of ovarian neoplasms in relation to prognosis and treatment. Similar limitations of our knowledge regarding immunologic aspects of human cancer apply to most other organs with the possible exception of the colon, thyroid and stomach. These three will be discussed later.
