Ziel der Ökonometrie ist es, funktionale Beziehungen zwischen ökonomischen Variablen aufzuspüren und zu messen. Sie hat insbesondere die zur Bewältigung dieser Aufgabe erforderlichen statistischen Methoden zu entwickeln und bereitzustellen. Um solche Methoden geht es in diesem Buch.
