Cross Correlation Measurements on Moving Vortex Arrays

Abstract

The analysis of flux flow noise in a Niobium foil with strong pinning only at one edge reveals flux inhomogeneities travelling along with the moving vortex arrangement. The structure of these inhomogeneities varies during motion, the controlling parameter in the present case being the travel distance rather than the travel time.
