Abstract
In a recent review paper NICOLET, BILGER and ZIJLSTRA [1] have described the thermal noise and generation-recombination noise in single and double injection solid state diodes. Although, the noise spectra of injection diodes often show a 1/f noise component, the treatment of this noise was beyond the scope of their paper. Probably they did not give a description of the 1/f noise because of absence of a physical model for 1/f fluctuations.
