Zusammenfassung
Wir haben uns mit der Struktur, der Replikation, der Mutation und der Rekombination der Erbsubstanz beschäftigt. In diesem und den folgenden drei Kapiteln wollen wir das Problem der Genfunktion behandeln und diskutieren, wie eine bestimmte Information, die in der Sequenz von Basen der DNA niedergelegt ist, zur Ausbildung eines phänotypischen Merkmals führen kann.
