Zusammenfassung

Zwischen viszeraler und parietaler Pleura findet physiologischerweise ein Flüssigkeitsaustausch statt. Bei gestörter Resorption, erhöhter Transsudation oder Exsudation bildet sich ein Erguß. Folgende Ursachen kommen in Frage:

  1. 1.

    Thoraxtraumen, Lungenembolie, entzündliche und maligne Veränderungen der Pleura, des Mediastinums und der Lunge.

  2. 2.

    Kardiovaskuläre Erkrankungen (konstriktive Perikarditis und Herzfehler mit Stauung), subdiachragmale Erkrankungen (Pankreatitis, Peritonitis, subphrenischer Abszeß, Leberzirrhose).

  3. 3.

    Immunologische Erkrankungen (z. B. Lupus erythematodes).
