Zusammenfassung

Die Pathogenese der Leukopenie und Agranulozytose war bereits zu Anfang dieses Jahrhunderts Gegenstand von Untersuchungen. So war es Pirquet und Schick (1905) bereits aufgefallen, daß die Antigen-Antikörper-Reaktion, hier im besonderen die Serumkrankheit, mit einer Leukopenie einhergeht. Schilling (1925) verglich die medikamentös hervorgerufene Leukopenie mit der des anaphylaktischen Schockes und schloß auf einen gleichartigen Pathomechanismus. Er stellte fest, daß es sich hierbei um eine periphere Zytolyse handelt. Bock (1935) sah die Pyrazolonagranulozytose als ein Arthusphänomen am Knochenmark an.
