Zusammenfassung

Ökonometrie ist eine besondere Methode auf dem Gebiet der Nationalökonomie: Die Anwendung der mathematischen Statistik auf wirtschaftliche Daten, um die Modelle, die mit Hilfe der mathematischen Volkswirtschaftslehre konstruiert sind, zu verifizieren und numerische Resultate zu gewinnen. Daher ist die Ökonometrie eine Kombination von drei Wissensgebieten: Mathematik, Volkswirtschaftslehre und Statistik1.
