Abstract

In 1935, Landsteiner and Jacobs sensitized guinea pigs by repeated injections of small doses of PNDMA. The tests to control the sensitization were made by an intra-dermal injection. These authors also report (without giving details) that sensitization could be obtained with PNDMA “by rubbing guinea pigs with vaseline containing 5% of the compound”.
