In der Schaltung nach Abb. 365 werde der eigenerregte Phasenschieber P von einem Hilfsmotor A mit fester Drehzahl n A angetrieben; in Gl. 528 ist also υ = tonst. Der Wirkwiderstand R dient zum Anlassen der IM und wird im Betriebe abgeschaltet oder kurzgeschlossen.
