Die ersten Versuche der Wiedereinpflanzung des Harnleiters in die Blase führten Novaro, Veit und Chaput 1894 unabhängig voneinander durch, und Gabré konnte bis zum Jahre 1909 30 verschiedene Verfahren zusammenstellen, die jedoch wegen sekundärer Striktur teilweise wieder verlassen wurden.
