Zusammenfassung
Mit der zuletzt angeschnittenen Frage ist unsere Analyse an einem Punkt angelangt, von dem aus die Verbindung zu unseren Ausführungen im 2. und 4. Kapitel möglich wird. Um nämlich feststellen zu können, in welcher Weise Informationen überhaupt die Art und die Qualität von Entscheidungen beeinflussen, bedarf es eines Modells des individuellen Entscheidungsprozesses, in dem die Existenz alternativer Informations- bzw. Kommunikationsmöglichkeiten für den Entscheidenden ausdrücklich berücksichtigt wird, so daß deren Effekte systematisch untersucht werden können. Im 2. Kapitel hatten wir demgegenüber dargelegt, daß sowohl die Theorie der Unternehmung unter Sicherheit als auch die Theorie der Unternehmung unter Unsicherheit auf Entscheidungsmodellen beruhen, die eine Diskussion der Zusammenhänge zwischen Entscheidungs- und Informationsprozeß ausschließen. Dadurch, daß der Informationsstatus eines Wirtschaftssubjekts hier als ein von ihm nicht kontrollierbares Datum angesehen wird, entfällt insbesondere auch die Frage, ob und inwieweit es die Variation dieses Informationsstatus als ein Mittel einsetzt oder einsetzen könnte, um den Erfolg seiner Entscheidungen zu beeinflussen. Entscheidungsmodelle, die Informationsund Kommunikationsaspekte durch zusätzliche Annahmen in die ökonomische Analyse einbeziehen, sind erst in jüngster Zeit entwickelt worden. Die wichtigsten, nämlich die von Marschak und Simon, werden wir im folgenden ausführlich diskutieren.

Die hinreichende Bedingung dafür, daß die für â11 und â21 ermittelten Werte zu einem Maximum und nicht zu einem Minimum führen, ist ebenfalls erfüllt, und zwar deshalb, weil wir q2 < 1 vorausgesetzt hatten. Durch diese Annahme wird also die Existenz eines eindeutigen Maximums für CD garantiert.
