Zusammenfassung
Ein Hauptproblem bei der Integration heterogener Datenbanken ist die Auflösung der unterschiedlichen Darstellung sich überlappender Realweltausschnitte. Im folgenden wird eine Strategie vorgestellt, um strukturelle und semantische Heterogenität mittels der objektorientierten, regelbasierten Datenbank-Sprache Frame-Logik aufzulösen. Insbesondere werden dabei termbasierte Objektidentitäten und parametrisierte Klassen verwendet, um möglicherweise mehrfach auftretende Objekte über alle lokalen Datenbanken hinweg eindeutig identifizieren zu können. Bei nicht auflösbaren semantischen Konflikten erlaubt der Vererbungsmechanismus die Priorisierung der Semantik einer bestimmten lokalen Datenbank.
