Summary
A now 69-year old patient has had ever since 7 years a bilateral ring-like paracentral situated opacity in the eorneal parenchym. The greyish opacity has a diameter of about 1/3 mm, the centre and the periphery of the cornea are normal. The examination of the patient and his relatives could neither find the reason nor trace up the heredity of this opacity.
