Abstract
Endometrial polyps consist of stroma and glands covered by a single layer of columnar epithelium. They are often part of a general endometrial hyperplasia. On their own they give rise to intermenstrual or postmenopausal bleeding. They are removed with sponge forceps or by curettage.
