Abstract

In this chapter we have collected some typical examples of practical applications of Boolean methods. These applications include a sequencing problem due to R. Fortet, a problem of timetable scheduling (written by I. Rosenberg and including also results of G. Mihoc and E. Balas), a problem in coding theory, a problem of plant location, and various other applications.
