Zusammenfassung

Als Screening-Methode ist die viszerale Angiographie in der Gastroenterologie von weniger invasiven, aussagekräftigen modernen bildgebenden Verfahren abgelöst worden. Sie hat jedoch unverändert bei folgenden Indikationen ihre unbestrittene Bedeutung behalten: Mesenterialinsuffizienz, schwere Gastrointestinalblutung, Tumorsuche (als letzte diagnostische Maßnahme), präoperative Gefäßdarstellung in der Leber-Pankreas-Chirurgie. Gefäßdilatation, Thrombolyse, Embolisation und gezielte arterielle Chemoperfusion als interventionelle Varianten haben der viszeralen Angiographie eine neue Attraktivität verliehen. Voraussetzung hierfür ist eine Klinik mit einem 24 h Angiographie-Service.
