Zusammenfassung

Die konventionelle Röntgenuntersuchung des Gastrointestinaltrakts hat durch die Endoskopie Einschränkungen erfahren, für viele Fragen insbesondere vor operativen Eingriffen und auch im Rahmen der Kontrolle und Nachsorge aber ihre Bedeutung behalten. Dies soll für die klinisch im Vordergrund stehenden Erkrankungen in vier Abschnitten, die sich auf Speiseröhre, Magen-Duodenum, Dünndarm und Dickdarm unter Einschluß der Computertomographie beziehen, belegt werden; zwangsläufig ergibt sich dabei verschiedentlich eine Gegenüberstellung mit endoskopischen Befunden.
