Zusammenfassung

Beim Thema „der leise Beginn chronischer Krankheiten“ denkt man in der Kardiologie unwillkürlich an Begriffe, wie „stummer Herzinfarkt“ oder „stumme Mitralstenose“ oder die schleichend verlaufende Endokarditis, die gerade deshalb als „lenta” bezeichnet wird. Entsprechen aber diese Syndrome auch tatsächlich den Frühstadien ihrer Krankheit? Die Problematik unserer Fragestellung liegt darin, daß Frühsymptome, selbst Erst-Symptome, nicht unbedingt Frühstadien von Herzkrankheiten erkennen lassen, deren Beginn so leise sein kann, daß er vielfach unserer Diagnostik entgeht. An 3 relevanten Herzkrankheiten soll diese Problematik erläutert werden: An der koronaren Herzkrankheit, den Vitien und den Kardiomyopathien.
