Zusammenfassung
Praktisch alle etablierten medikamentös-antineoplastischen Behandlungen sind bei kontinuierlicher Applikation immunsuppressiv. Auch den Östrogenen wird eine derartige Wirkung nachgesagt: So führt im Tierversuch die Gabe pharmakologischer Dosen von Östrogenen zu einer Verminderung der absoluten Lymphozytenzahl im Retikulo-Endo-thelialsystem. Bei Menschen wird in der Schwangerschaft ein Mangel an kleinen Lymphozyten in iliakalen Lymphknoten beobachtet [5,6]. Die fehlende Abstoßung des Föten und der Placenta durch den mütterlichen Wirtsorganismus wird ebenfalls auf den immunsuppressiven Effekt der Östrogene zurückgeführt [4]. Andererseits kann die Schwangerschaftsgestose als Reaktion auf den Embryo infolge einer gestörten Immunsuppression verstanden werden [7].
