Zusammenfassung

Die Nebennierenrinde sezerniert verschiedene Steroidhormone mit Mineralocorticoidwirkung. Eine nahezu ausschließliche Mineralocorticoidaktivität besitzen Aldosteron und Desoxycorticosteron, aber auch Corticosteron und Cortisol können, wenn sie in großen Mengen gebildet werden, neben ihrem Glukocorticoideffekt eine Mineralocorticoidwirkung ausüben und blutdrucksteigernd wirken.
