Zusammenfassung

Das Leben intimer Beziehung prägt Entwicklung im Erwachsenenalter entscheidend. Das gilt für die Entwicklung der Person, es gilt aber ebenso für deren Partner, Kinder, ihre Eltern und andere ihr nahestehende Menschen. Mehr als die Entwicklungspsychologie haben sich Familiensoziologie und Familienpsychologie mit Partnerschaft beschäftigt. Auf solche Arbeiten soll nachfolgend zurückgegriffen werden. Wenig findet sich in der Fachliteratur über die Liebe. Das ist verwunderlich, wird doch hier eine Kraft außer acht gelassen, die stärker als viele andere zu einem erfüllten Altern beitragen kann.
