Abstract
Intimacy1) and sexual actiyity are two of several human needs and drives that can be considered separately or together. There are individual differences in intensity and persistence of such drives that fluctuate and change throughout the life span. The drives are influenced by biological development, age, disease and disability, and the physical-social environment.
