Zusammenfassung
Wenn eine solide Läsion oder eine Flüssigkeitsansammlung sonographisch dargestellt worden ist, ist es in vielen Fällen entscheidend, Material für histologische, bakteriologische oder laborchemische Untersuchungen zu gewinnen. Dieses Material kann man sehr rasch durch die sonographisch gesteuerte, perkutane Punktion erhalten. Die einfachste Form ist eine Punktion, die sich an sonographischen Schnittbildern orientiert. Dazu wird sonographisch die optimale Einstichstelle, Punktionsrichtung sowie die Tiefe der Läsion unter der Haut bestimmt. Es ist jedoch meist vorteilhaft, das betreffende Objekt während des Punktionsvorganges im Auge zu behalten. Für diese Methode ist eine besondere Ausrüstung notwendig.
