Aus der Gegebenheit, daß bei der Bildung des Keims einer neuen Phase in der Bilanz der freien Enthalpie ΔG-Terme mit verschiedenem Vorzeichen auftreten, resultiert die Möglichkeit der Entstehung metastabiler Phasen. Das Prinzip soll anhand von Bild 9.1 erläutert werden
