Zusammenfassung
Den heutigen Kenntnissen entsprechend scheinen drei Hauptmechanismen bei der Harnsteinbildung eine prominente Rolle zu spielen:
-
a)
die Übersättigung des Harnes mit steinbildenden Substanzen,
-
b)
die Anwesenheit von Kristallen, welche epitaktisch die Ausfällung eines anderen Salzes aktivieren und
-
c)
die Konzentration von Kristallisations- und Aggregationshemmkörpern.
