Abstract

Management of nomadic computers (either portable laptops or mobile robots) in actual networks brings new challenges for efficient resources access and cooperative work. New systems have to cope with communication breaking off. Systems should also manage resources mobility (due to hardware location change or cell change for wireless communication), that may lead to prohibitive resources use due to communication delay/cost. We propose a new resources management scheme that takes these new challenges into account and we apply it in a robotic environment.
