Zusammenfassung

Die Chirurgie des Gallensteinleidens hat nach Einführung der laparoskopischen Methoden einen grundlegenden Wandel vollzogen — in dramatischer Weise hinsichtlich der Verwendung neuer Techniken, aber auch hinsichtlich mancher chirurgisch-taktischer Vorgehensweisen, wie etwa in der Therapie der Choledocholithiasis. Diese Veränderungen zu erfassen war das Ziel einer repräsentativen Umfrage in der BRD über den Zeitraum von 1991 bis 1994.
