Computerized Tomography Demonstration of Labyrinthine Facial Nerve Decompression Viability by the Transattical Approach

At present, total facial nerve decompression is the only therapeutic method to prevent the progression of the facial nerve lesion and its secondary sequelae. This method is also used for other causes of facial paralysis where the nerve lesion is located on the preganglionar facial nerve segment [1–6].
