Abstract
It is not difficult to realize that many problems involving linear partial differential equation with random coefficents may be analyzed in terms of PRM. The 1dSchrödinger equation with random potential is one of the most important examples, and has been studied in some detail. In this chapter we discuss two other relevant cases: light propagation in media with random optical index and convection of a magnetic field in random velocity fields.
