Abstract
Amongst the various massifs which constitute the West European Variscan fold belt, the Armorican Massif has a special place of interest. This is due to the importance of Cadomian remnants (cf. Pan-African) belonging to the northern border of Gondwana that was dislocated during Paleozoic orogenies (Fig. 1).
