Abstract

A 41-year-old woman had an adrenal carcinoma removed 2 years ago and was subsequently put on chemotherapy for liver metastases which failed. She then underwent a partial hepatectomy. One morning she coughed two cups of blood, and a bronchoscopy showed blood coming from the basal segment of the right lower lobe. Chest radiographs showed widespread pulmonary metastases with a large mass in the medial segment of the right lower lobe.
