Zusammenfassung
Das Programm SIC macht Vorgänge sichtbar und steuerbar, wie sie in modernen Programmiersprachenübersetzern („Compilern“) ablaufen. Technisch gesehen ist SIC ein sogenannter „Compiler- Compiler“, der aus Sprachbeschreibungen (in Form „attri-butierter Grammatiken“) Komponenten von Compilern generiert: Syntaxanalysatoren, welche die grammatikalische Struktur vorgelegter Quelltexte ermitteln und Attribut-auswerter, welche anhand dieser grammatikalischen Struktur die gewünschte Übersetzung durchführen.
