Zusammenfassung
Die bahnbrechende Mitteilung Wullsteins [359], daß sich mit Hilfe des freien Gewebetransplantates nahezu jeder Defekt des Trommelfells ergänzen und eine völlig offene Pauke schließen lasse, hat die Ent-wicklung rekonstruktiver Techniken in der Mittelohrchirurgie ermöglicht. Nach den Prinzipien der Ohrchirurgie — aufgestellt von Wullstein und Zöllner — wird ein sicheres, trockenes sowie ein hörendes Ohr angestrebt [50, 339]. Bei der Sanierung ist es ge-legentlich notwendig, wichtige Strukturen wie Ossikel, Gehörgangswand, Trommelfell oder die knöcherne Begrenzung der Mittelohrräume zu entnehmen [180].
