Abstract

In the present chapter is given an overview of the internal implementation of the ATES system. The implementation on a computer of a large programming and proof system requires lots of efforts (about 100 man x months of work) and the use of a certain number of advanced techniques in the field of compiler design, software environment design and theorem proving.
