Summary

Nonlinear constitutive equations for time dependent anisotropic materials and related kernel functions were described. Some assumptions based on structural symmetry and material restrictions suggested to simplify involved constitutive equations were overviewed. In order to verify theories thin walled tubular specimens of wood and fiber glass reinforced polyester were subjected to various combinations of tension, torsion and internal pressure. The time dependence of creep strains and the forms of kernel functions were discussed.
